Aside from these accomplishments, Dr. Melazzo completed a one-year internship with special needs patients at the Sparks Center (formerly the Center for Disabled and Learning Disabilities – CDLD) in Birmingham. He is a graduate of the Foundation for Advanced Dental Education in San Francisco, California and completed dental education courses at UCLA and the Nash Institute. Additionally, he has attended numerous courses held by the Frank Spear Study Club.

Most recently, Dr. Melazzo has completed over 250 hours of dental implant education at CIRP (Comprehensive Implant Residency Program) in Birmingham.

About

Dr. Melazzo is a lifetime member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and participates in numerous activities and committees. He and his wife Angela have one son, Trey. He loves going to Auburn football games during the fall and enjoys spending time with old friends. Dr. Melazzo also enjoys learning and playing music, particularly bluegrass.
